A new choir is being formed in Belfast, Northern Ireland, which will specialise in sacred music. The choir won’t have any connections to any particular church or denomination, instead it will bring together the best music from all Christian denominations. No auditions are required, and skills in reading music will be taught in the rehearsals.
The choir director, Loreto McAuley, is a well known conductor and choir director, who has worked with choirs all her life. She was the Director of Music in St Peter’s Cathedral in Belfast and is currently the organist at Queen’s University Belfast.
The choir will rehearse in the Agape Centre on the Lisburn Road on Thursday evenings. Everyone welcome!
